Exercise Your Body To Rest Your Mind

Today we're gonna take a different approach to our mind and that is through our body. Because of the tight relationship between our body and our mind we can pick up signal from the body and see if the mind is feeling well or maybe something is wrong. In general medicine the doctors tell us that we have a headache when something is wrong with our body, one or more internal organs is malfunctioning, but I want to add something to this statement and say that your body is hurting when our mind is out of balance, when our mind is hurting… the body feels and expresses what the mind feels. But there is something we can do about this… we can let our mind rest while our body is working out a bit of sweat. Daily exercise means a lot to the mind and this is not secret and not something I made up… it's scientifically proven, the brain produces serotonin when we work out and that makes us happy. Serotonin is the chemical of happiness, it synthesized in the serotonergic neurons when we do things we like: sex, eat good food, dance on our favorite tune and other experiences we enjoy. Serotonin based drugs are used in depression treatment and are often prescribed by the psychologists. These drugs are to be avoided if possible and we could find our own natural source of serotonin which are plenty all around us. We can find it in plants like: bananas, pineapple, kiwifruit, plumbs and tomatoes; and we can stimulate serotonin secretion by working out. Find your own sport that you enjoy: run, lift weights, play tennis, soccer, basketball or other sport… the main goal is to take at least an hour of your daily routine and just exercise. If you won't take care of yourself, no one will and if you neglect your body others will see that and you will loose their respect and in time you will loose your own self respect. The majority of our history's geniuses knew this and many of them had an hour a day in their daily routine for working out. People tend to imagine the smart individual stereotype as the glassy and skinny dork who doesn't go out much and is pale as the wall. This is a general misconception, for example Leonardo DaVinci who was also fascinated with the human anatomy, historians believe he was a well fitted man, with a straight posture and had big respect for his own body, also he use to wear expensive and high quality clothes made from the fines materials of that time. Doesn't seem so dorky, now does he? In the end I leave you with this old Latin quotation "Mens sana in corpore sano" which means "A sound mind in a sound body". Take care of you mind by taking care of your body!

Problems?? Ruuuuun… or maybe Not??

Do you happen to have a problem? Of course you have… we all have problems, some of us have bigger problems other have smaller ones. Problems are not something that we actually want and certainly they don't make us happy. That's why many people try to run from their problems so they try to forget about them by stuffing them way back in the brain. But the brain can't be always fooled… you may fool it for a short period of time but those problems will come back and haunt you. This is one of the reasons why people often go down the road of depression at a certain age… it's because the still have issues from the past that they postponed, either they're problems related to their childhood or something about past failed relationships, these problems will come back to you at a certain time in your life and when they'll come they won't come alone. The issues will invade you one after another like a chain reaction and in that moment you won't be able to face them all. That's why I advice you to deal with them one by one when you have the chance. Now in order to solve your problems is to find the source of these nasty issues. A common mistake that most of us make is that we tend to blame other for everything and it's damn hard to find the source when we blame others for your own mistakes. Blaming other leads only to another problem… by throwing the fault anyone else but is only makes things worst because be expect those people to fix the problems that we think they created. But if we take a look at the problem for a drifferent perspective and what we'll see is that WE are the real cause of the problem… and the sooner we realize this the better. After you found the source of the problem you don't have to panic because everything is fine now… if you have the problem… you are the source… the guess what? YOU HAVE THE SOLUTION!!! Just look inside you and the solution will come right away because you past the hardest step... and that is finding the source of the problem.

So in conclusion, the best way to escape from your problem is to solve them!

When You Think, the Universe Moves

Here's a new concept: your thinking keeps the Universe spinning. I know it's not easy to believe such a statement, so read it again and try picturing this concept at a smaller scale, rather than considering the whole Universe try to get closer to you own and soon you will understand what I mean. This theory is based on the law of Cause and Effect and to prove this to yourself just look around you and see all the marvelous effects that were caused by the mere thoughts of all the people who's desires were so strong that they changed the world not only for them but also for the people surrounding them. And you may think something like: "I'm not Einstein to make a difference!" or "I'm not the president of the USA to make an impact on the people!" or "I don’t have the power in my hand to change things!"… I just have to stop you right there! Do you realize how many negations you've just said? Remember that you become what you think and if negative thoughts is what you think, then through repetition the law of cause and effect makes you unable to change things in your life and thus ending up being that NOT person. But the thing is that you don't have to be either Einstein nor the president to change things in your life and all around you. All these great people had a powerful desire in mind and because they believed in their thoughts the results came in no time. So you see… their desire was the cause and the results were the effect. Now imagine what you can do using this law… if you have the power to make the cause then you most definitely have the power the make the effect happen as well. Think about what you want… start thinking now, don't wait.. cause waiting is trap, and the moment you feel your need becoming a desire then you made the first step towards making that happen… and it will happen because where there's a cause, an effect will show up for sure… it's a law after all! Now you understand why when you think the Universe moves? Now you see how all effects comes from a cause which is nothing more than your thoughts of desire.
So start thinking... start desiring... start changing the WORLD!
